I took my loved one out to dinner
So we could get a bite to eat
And though we both had been much thinner
She looked so beautiful I could eat her
Well Well Well Oh Well
So....having fun, feeling good, grabbing a bite with a loved one, not fretting over the past glory of thinner days but reveling instead in the beauty found in the present moment, and throwing a little wink in there too, because sexy stuff is a nice addition to being well. Perfect.
We sat and talked of revolution
just like two liberals in the sun
we talked of women's liberation
and how the hell we could get thing done
Well Well Well Oh Well
So, a purpose and a plan, something to dream of and hope for and do. Can't go wrong.
I took my loved one to a big field
So we could watch the English sky
Were both feeling guilty
And neither one of us knew just why
Well Well Well Oh Well
So, some quiet time in nature, appreciating and connecting with the earth, feeling awed and perhaps humble in the presence of such vast mysterious beauty. Indescribably blessed, by something as available as a field, the sky, a loved one.
And best of all, at the end of each verse,
Oh Well...
Some things will simply be.
Let them.
It seems we can't have wellness without a little inner peace.
